📚 BAHS Throwback Challenge – Dig Out Your Old Term Papers!
The other day, I stumbled across my old 1976 term paper from my days at Bonn American High School.
The title? „Airpolution – Practical Power for Today: Wankel vs. Piston Engine“ 🚗✈️
Reading through it was like stepping into a time machine — memories of teachers, classmates, and those long nights typing away came flooding back. I realized how fascinating it is to see what we wrote, researched, and cared about back then.
So here’s my idea:
Let’s build a virtual BAHS Archive of student term papers and projects! Science, History, English essays, Art projects, Creative Writing — anything you poured your heart into is welcome.
💡 Why join in?
- It’s a piece of our shared school and era
- We can preserve these memories for future generations of BAHS alumni
- It’s fun to explore the range of topics and styles from different decades
- We might even find surprising connections between our years and subjects
📷 How to take part:
- Find your old paper, project, or essay (bonus points if it’s still in its original binder or typewritten pages)
- Scan or photograph it
- Post it here in our alumni group or send it to the archive team
- Add your graduation year and maybe a short backstory about the assignment
Let’s show the world just how diverse, creative, and curious the BAHS community was — and still is.
